It’s sort of like that feeling I had when I was around 10 years old and a new song was released by one of my favorite bands and I just HAD to have the record  (mostly 45s.  33s were too expensive). I spent several weeks surfing the a.m. radio stations just hoping to hear it until I finally had enough allowance saved up to buy the plastic.  Somehow, though, once I actually owned the record,  it just wasn’t quite as thrilling as the anticipation of  “maybe I’ll hear it”  as I rode in the passenger seat on the way to piano lessons with my Dad.

Now that I have a blog I sort of feel the same way. We’ll see what happens.
